Paul Earl Hudson, born on August 23, 1938, in Bluejacket, Oklahoma, passed away on April 29, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A devoted family man and skilled professional, Paul leaves behind a legacy of love, dedication, and craftsmanship.
Paul proudly served in the United States Air Force, an experience that instilled in him a sense of duty and commitment. After his military service, he dedicated many years to his career as a bridge inspector for the Oklahoma Department of Transportation.
Outside of his professional life, Paul was passionate about his hobbies, which included crappie fishing, gardening, and tinkering with cars and lawn mowers. He found joy in disassembling and reassembling various items, a reflection of his inquisitive nature and hands-on approach to life. His love for fishing extended to cherished moments spent at Grand Lake, as well as special times camping with family, creating lasting memories that will be remembered fondly.
Paul's interests also encompassed visiting flea markets and indulging in junking, activities that showcased his appreciation for unique finds. Moreover, he enjoyed woodworking, a pastime that revealed his creativity and craftsmanship.
Paul is survived by his daughters, Paula Goodman and husband Mitch of Pryor, OK, and Felicia Fawn Hudson of San Antonio, TX; his brother, Johnny Hudson of Adair, OK; grandchildren, Amber Mouse and Scott Goodman; and great-grandchildren, Dimitri Mouse and Sadie and Sofie Goodman.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lelia (Kincade) Hudson; his wife, Ermadeen Ida Hudson; brothers, Larry Hudson and Curtis Hudson; and sister, June Pitts.
The impact Paul had on those around him will endure, as will the fond memories of a man who was not only an exemplary father and grandfather but also a dedicated friend and community member. His legacy will continue through the lives he touched and the love he shared.
