Glenda Marlene (Modesto) Hudson

Glenda Marlene (Modesto) Hudson
February 28, 1962 ~ January 5, 2023

Glenda Marlene Hudson departed this earth to her Heavenly home on January 5, 2023.

Glenda was born on February 28, 1962 in Claremore, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Anthony Modesto and Billie K (Ford) Modesto. Glenda lived and worked as a CNA for many years in the Claremore area until she retired in 2010 due to injury.

She met and then married Chris Hudson on August 16, 1996 in Foyil, Oklahoma. In 2018, they moved to Stroud. One thing you knew if you stopped by to see Glenda was you would not leave hungry. In fact you better arrive hungry because she was going to feed you no matter what. Glenda loved to camp and fish. Her biggest blessings and greatest accomplishment was her family. She was so proud of all of them. To say that Glenda was a special lady is an understatement, she will be greatly missed.

Glenda is preceded in death her parents; daughter Rhonda Whitman; grandson Christian Potts; and brother Keith Cordrey.

Glenda is survived by her husband of 27 years Chris Hudson; daughters Crystal McCoy and Billie Bingham; grandchildren Timmy, Tyler, Heaven, Heather, Leslie, and Shyanne; 4 great grandchildren; brother Danny Cordrey; sisters Vickie Casey and Angie Modesto; and also many extended family and friends.

Services honoring the Life of Glenda will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at Stroud First Assembly of God.

Condolences may be offered online at www.parksbrothers.net. Services are under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud, OK.
