Traudl was born March 4, 1962, in Dietfurt, Germany, to Anton and Theres Eibner, and passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022, at her home in Enid, from a long illness.
Traudl was born and raised in Germany. When she met Karl, neither of them knew each others language and had to have her best friend Babsi interpret for them. She married Karl in Dubuque, IA, in August 1986. They had another wedding ceremony in Germany upon their return. She was a doctor's assistant in Germany for 23 years and a military wife. When Karl was deployed, she stayed behind and received recognition from the military for her support of her husband. When Karl was relocated to Turkey, Greece and the United States she retired from the medical field and was able to move with him. In 2005, is when they moved to Enid, OK, and made a home. She was a housewife who enjoyed making new friends and sharing many recipes with friends and family. Traudl loved traveling, knitting, hosting wine tastings, Volksmarching and going for motorcycle rides with Karl.
She is survived by her husband Karl, of the home in Enid; step-daughter, Stacy (Mitch) Parmer, of Cedar Rapids, IA; step-son, David Huber of Mt. Vernon, IA; two grandchildren, Shelby and Cole Parmer, of Cedar Rapids, IA; two siblings, sister, Brigette (Hartmut) Buchner, and brother Anton (Petra) Eibner, both of Germany; as well as a niece, Chrissi Eibner and two nephews, Bernd Buchner and Stefan Eibner.
