Charles “Chuck” David Huber passed away on October 27, 2024, at his home in Locust Grove, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 55 years, 11 months, and 8 days old.
Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, on November 19, 1968, Chuck was the eldest son of Stonie David and Janice Marie (Bohannon) Huber. He grew up attending Locust Grove Public Schools.
Chuck had a passion for nature. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying deer hunting, motorcycling, and riding four-wheelers through the woods. Chuck found joy in music, especially Jazz and Blues, and was known for his impressive collection of various treasures that he collected. At home, he was happiest with his pit bull, Baby, by his side and loved cooking for family. His skillet bread became a family favorite, though it was his boundless love for pizza that made his dining choices memorable.
Generous and warm-hearted, Chuck never hesitated to lend a hand to family or friends. He was deeply caring and devoted, a person known for his readiness to help others in times of need. He will be missed by those that knew and loved him.
Chuck is survived by his loving parents: Stonie and Janice Huber of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; his brother: Stonie Dean Huber, and wife Connie, also of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; his maternal grandmother: Marcelle Spiers of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; and 1 nephew: Brandon Clark of Pryor, Oklahoma.
He was preceded in death by: his maternal grandfather: Alva Bohannon; his paternal grandparents: Charles B. and Una L. (Moorehead) Huber; and 1 nephew: Christopher Clark.
In accordance with Chuck’s wishes, no formal service will be held. Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Locust Grove Funeral Home.
