Thomas Patrick “Pat” Howerton

 Private family memorial service for Thomas Patrick “Pat” Howerton, 71, will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Fairview Funeral Home, Inc.

Pat Howerton was born in Fairview, Oklahoma to Dallas Lawrence and Mildred L. (Cooper) Howerton and passed from this life to the next on May 30, 2022 in the Fairview Fellowship Home.

Pat grew up in Fairview and attended school there, graduating from high school in May 1968. After he graduated, he went to work for his dad at the lumber yard and soon after went to work in the oil and gas industry becoming a Measurement Tech. He worked in the oil and gas industry until he retired in 2016.

Pat loved to hunt and fish and most of all spending time with his friends and family. He also had a passion for fire fighting and work for the city of Fairview Fire Department for 20 years retiring as a Captain.

Pat is survived by his mother Mildred Howerton, his son Kenny Howerton and his wife Jayci, and his daughter Kerry Westfahl and her husband Owen, six grandchildren, Caleb Westfahl and wife Sara, Catherine Westfahl, Craig Westfahl, Kendra Howeton, Kaycee Olive and husband Sterling, and Karson Howerton, two great grandkids, Cooper Olive and Elijah Mount, one brother Mike Howerton and wife Dixie.

Preceded in death by his father Dallas and his brother Leroy Howerton.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fairview Fire Department with the Fairview Funeral Home acting as custodians of the funds.
