Carl L. Howell

Dec. 30, 1944 ~ Dec. 15, 2004

Carl was born December 30, 1944, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma to George and Lottie Howell. Carl was a hard worker who enjoyed fishing, watching John Wayne movies, spending time with his grandchildren and was an avid football fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and brother, George Howell.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Howell; brothers, Bob, Troy, Jimmy and Johnny Howell and sisters, Paralee, Grace, and Susie; his four children, Chuck, Mary and Jason Howell of Bakersfield and Stephanie Arambula of Chicago, IL; and stepsons, Robert and Bill Ferguson. He has 13 grandchildren, CJ and Ashley Howell, Duke, Rebecca and Connel Ferguson, Aaron, Stephanie, Crystal, Cristy, Andy, and Sara Jessica Arambula, and Destoney and Mynisha Howell, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Carl was a beloved husband, a loving father, a doting grandfather and a treasured friend. His presence will be greatly missed.

Graveside services were held on December 20, 2004, at Hillcrest Mortuary.
