Julia Howard, 72 year old Woodward resident, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2023 in Enid. No memorial services are scheduled at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.

Julia Elizabeth (Guthrie) Howard was born on January 23, 1951 in Los Angeles, California to Robert Lorring and Elner Mae (Baxter) Guthrie. Julia grew up in Sayre, Oklahoma. She then started work as a truck driver. She also worked as a medical nurse. Julia spent her life accompanied by her spouse Gary Gamble, Sr.

Julia enjoyed drinking a beer and when people told her stupid jokes. Her cat, Tom brought her the most joy. Julia liked attending her AA meetings.

Julia is survived by her spouse, Gary E Gamble, Sr.; her step son, Gary E Gamble, Jr.; grandchildren, Ocean Gamble and wife Loney; great grandchildren, John Gamble and Will Gamble; some of her dearest friends that she has left behind, Frankie, Sam Girl, Tammy Turtle and Stacey.

She will be remembered and greatly missed by all.
