Frances M. (Crouch) Howard

December 23, 1927 ~ December 31, 2003

Graveside funeral services will be held on January 6, 2004, at 2:00 p.m., at Wasco Memorial Park for Frances M. Howard, age 76, of Wasco, who passed away on December 31, 2003, in San Francisco. Pastor Jim Wheeler of Grace Community Church will officiate and interment will follow.

Frances M. Howard was born December 23, 1927, the daughter of Hiter and Doshie Crouch in Wilburton, Oklahoma. She came to California at the age of 19. She married John Howard of Wasco on June 16, 1962, and together raised their five children of previous marriages. She found time to be active socially and in the Wasco Christian Church, but never sacrificed her role as a wonderful mother and housewife. In 1964, she was named "Wasco Mother of the Year," a tribute to her hard work.

Frances is survived by her children, Velva Cox and husband, Stephen; Wrenda Sabino and husband, Joseph; Keith Howard and wife, Donna; Sharon Cloud, and Annette Daoud and husband, Alan; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John A. Howard in 1997; and one granddaughter, Scharonn Garrihy in 1984.
