Albert Leon Housewright, a beloved father and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on October 16, 2024, in Grove, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. Born on July 13, 1940, Olney, Oklahoma, to Emmitt Housewright and Edith Luna.
Albert worked as an electrical engineer, but it was his role as a father that truly defined him. He will be remembered as the best father in the world, a title he wore with honor and pride. His children were the light of his life, and he cherished every moment spent with them, teaching them valuable lessons and sharing priceless memories.
Albert's passions extended beyond his professional life. He found joy on the golf course, where he enjoyed the challenge of the game and the camaraderie it brought. His love for nature was evident in his quiet hours spent watching the hummingbirds fly about in his garden. An avid gardener, Albert took pride in cultivating a vegetable garden. Additionally, his fishing trips for crappies were cherished outings where he forged bonds and created lasting memories with those he loved.
Albert is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years Jammie Kathrine Coyle, and his parents Emmitt and Edith. As well as siblings Johnny, Jimmy, Gene, and Anita Gerou.
Albert is survived by his children Paul Kevin Housewright, and Patrica “Patty” Karen Housewright, and sister Carol Willard.
The family will hold a private service at a later date.
