Katherine June (Little) Householder

June 18, 1947 ~ December 9, 2021

Katherine June Little Householder, 74, of Ardmore, departed this life on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the Lake Country Nursing Center, Marietta. Memorial services will be held at a later date.

She was born June 18, 1947 in Sulphur to the late Paul Little and Nadine Wanda Roberts Boland. Katherine grew up in Sulphur and had remained in Southern Oklahoma most of her life.

Katherine met her husband Roy William Householder when she was 12 and they later married on October 23, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2018 after 56 years of marriage. Katherine went back to school and received an associates degree in arts and humanities in 1987. She was a bookkeeper and did taxes for many people throughout the years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and traveling. She and Roy had traveled all 50 states, remodeling hotels throughout the United States. She loved her children and grandchildren.

Katherine was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Roy W. Householder, infant daughter, Cassandra June Householder; son, Bryan Householder; and a brother, Danny Edward Little.

Survivors include her son, Michael Roy Householder and wife Patricia of Oklahoma; daughter, Lisa Carol Hartman and fiance Dale Bidel of Ardmore; grandchildren, Jillian and Anthony Coghill, Robin Householder, Amanda and Daniel Caldwell, Justin and Katie Householder, Dustie and Steven Upton, Gregory and Shannen Householder, Cody Hartman and fiancee Alexis Spradling, and Aaron and Rachel Householder; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolyn Kaserman of Sulphur; and many other relatives and a host of friends.
