Celebration of life services for Zakary Wade Horner, 26, Enid, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 21, 2017 in the Stittsworth Memory Chapel with Gene Long officiating. Services are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service and Cremation Directors.
He was born on August 17, 1990 in Enid, Oklahoma, the son of Michael Eugene and Tami Kaye McCormick Horner, and passed away in Enid on August 12, 2017.
Zak was a lifelong resident of Enid and graduated from Lincoln Academy with the class of 2009. He was self-employed with his father as a mechanic and painter and was a caregiver to his Mom. Zak loved Chevrolet's. Zak was a private eye with his father and his nickname was Bull Durham and his father's nickname was Mcfly. Zak was a keyboardist for Godinamachine, and also was the band photographer.
Survivors include his father, Mike of Enid, Mother, Tami of Enid; sisters, Emily Horner of Enid, Kayely Horner of Enid; fiance' Angela Brooks of Enid; Thomas Chattam (aka. T.J. Foreskin), Courtney Dickerson (aka. Courtness). step-mother, Connie Horner of Enid; other family members include Kelsey and Adrian Jones, Kane and Kareem Jones, Kodi and Jackie Lenz and family.
Everyone who met Zak, were instantly touched.
The family has requested, instead of flowers, checks may be made payable to Mike Horner, as acceptable for memorial donations. The family will determine later how best to remember Zak with the donations.
