Deborah Jean "Debbie" (Robison) Horner
August 17, 1954 ~ January 22, 2022

Deborah Jean Horner was born Tuesday, August 17, 1954 in Hugo, Oklahoma to Jim Henry Robison and Frances Elveta (Hart) Robison. She passed from this life on Saturday, January 22, 2022 in Denison, Texas at the age of 67.

Debbie grew up in Durant and graduated from Durant High School. She worked as a sales clerk for TG&Y and later for C.R. Anthony as office clerk. Debbie would spend the next thirty years working at Texas Instruments working as a Wafer Fab Specialist and then with Quality Control until her retirement in 2016.

Debbie enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed attending her granddaughter’s extracurricular activities. Debbie was a member of the Northwest Church of Christ and presently the Durant Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Debbie is survived by her son, David Matthew Horner, of Denton, TX; daughter, Dianna Marie Horner of Caddo, OK; granddaughter, Ashlyn Marie Bruce of Caddo, OK; sister, Janie Kilpatrick and her husband, John, of Durant, OK; brothers, William Robison and his wife, Sandra, of Roberta, OK, and Kim Robison and his wife, Libby, of Durant, OK; former husband, David Ray Horner of Caddo, OK; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Memorial services to celebrate Debbie’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, Jan. 27th, at the Durant Church of Christ located at 5312 N. 1st Ave. in Durant with Ministers Logan Cates officiating and Layne Heitz assisting.
