Janice L. Hoover, retired beautician, passed away on Friday evening, Sept. 12, 2008, at her residence Northwest of Mannford, OK at the age of 82 years.
The daughter of the late William Robinson and Dale Long Robinson, Janice was born on September 10, 1926 in Superior, NB., and was reared and educated in that area.
She was united in marriage to Guy Hoover on June 24, 1950 and to this union two sons, Larry and Donald were born.
Janice had owned and operated her own beauty shop in Mt. Grove, MO and while living in Mountain Grove, attended the Calvary Temple Church.
She enjoyed arts and crafts, painting and spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of over 58 years, Guy Hoover of the home; one son Larry Guy Hoover and his wife Gayle of Tulsa; five grandchildren, Clarisa Branson of Bixby, OK, Jason Hoover, Cynthia Hoover, Matt Hoover and Michael Hoover all of Mannford, OK; seven great-grandchildren, Keiran Branson, Zoe Branson, Austin Brown, A.J. Hoover, Chloe Hoover, C.J. Hoover and Gaberial Hoover; several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son Donald Hoover and one brother William Robinson.
Private family celebration of Janice's life was held.
