Coleman Lee "Slim" Hooper

December 4, 1913 ~ September 18, 2008

Coleman Lee "Slim" Hooper, age 94 years and 9 months, went home to be with the Lord, September 18, 2008.

Slim was born December 4, 1913 in Cheyenne, Oklahoma to John Pitzer Hooper and Catherine Butler Hooper, the tenth of eleven children.

He married Ruth Richerson of Allison, Texas.

To this union two children were born, Sandra Jo Hooper Fox of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and Roscoe Hooper of Farmington, New Mexico.

He was a veteran of World War II, General Patton's Third Division; Second Infantry Regiment.

Farmington, New Mexico was his home at the time of his departing this life here.

Slim is survived by two children, Sandra Jo Hooper Fox and Roscoe Hooper; as well as his grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
