Keith Milton Holznagel

Keith Milton Holznagel
March 21, 1949 ~ July 26, 2020

Keith M. Holznagel a resident of Edmond Oklahoma passed away on July 26, 2020, at the age of 71. He was born in Portland Oregon, the son of Milton Holznagel and Thelma Newcomb Holznagel. Following graduation from Sunset High School, he proudly served his country in the US Navy. After his tour with the service, he received his Bachelors from the University of Oregon in Computer Science. He worked behind the scenes for several television stations in Oregon and Idaho and continued his career in related broadcasting industries.

Keith was avid reader of history and astronomy and searched the sky with his telescope studying the stars and planets. He loved adventure from the Oregon coast, mountains and later explored Oklahoma and its surrounding area and state’s history.

Keith is survived by his former wife Marilyn Conley of Edmond, OK and his two children, a daughter Thea Holznagel , a son Taylor Holznagel of Portland, OR and his sister, Kathi Neilson of Bend, OR. Keith is survived by many friends, one very special friend, Dan Edwards of Portland, OR and relatives in Oregon, Minnesota and Washington State. He was also the proud owner of a miniature schnauzer Ollie, who was his side kick. Keith will be sorely missed by all.

Keith enjoyed a full life of adventure and the love of family and friends. Included in his loyalties was the importance of his motto that was spoken so many times and will always be remembered: GO DUCKS!

Services are scheduled for 2pm on Friday, September 18th at the Willamette National Cemetery, Portland, OR.
May he rest in peace with a life well lived.
