Betty (Alexander) Holtsinger
???? ~ June 5, 2018 | Age 82

Betty Alexander Holtsinger, age 82 of Bartlesville, OK, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 5, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doran Eugene Mitchell; husband, Lawrence Holtsigner; parents, Bertie and Herbert Alexander; brother, Sonny Alexander and sister, Annette Johnson.

She is survived by her son, Steve Alexander Mitchell of Clarksville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Marcia Mitchell Black and Dewayne Black of Bartlesville, OK; nieces, Sandra Johnson Bevins of Atlanta, GA; Lynda and Richard Davidson of McDonough, GA; grandchildren, Caleb and Katie Black of Plano, TX, Naomi Black of Bartlesville, OK; a host of nieces and nephews.

Betty was a member of Alexandre Memorial Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA. Betty had a long career at The Georgia Institute of Technology. She worked as an administrative assistant, specializing in technical typing, for the Department of Aerospace and Engineering. Betty enjoyed finding treasures at garage sales and sharing them with family and friends. She volunteered her time for church and community programs.

A celebration honoring and remembering her life will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Scot Ward's Green Meadow Chapel in COnyers, GA. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty's memory to Green Country Village Retirement Center, Employee Appreciation Fund, 1027 Swan Drive, Bartlesville, OK 74006 or OSU-Center for Health Services, Dept. of Anatomy and Cell Biology, 1111 W. 17th Street, Tulsa, OK 74107 (check or money order to: OSU-Center for Health Services Anatomy and Cell Biology. And in the checks memo section put "Body Donor Program, donor Betty Holtsinger)."
