Pamela Sue (Voss) Holt
June 4, 1949 ~ August 1, 2019 (age 70)

Pamela Sue Voss Boyd Holt, 70, of Shawnee, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019, in Shawnee.

She was the daughter of Stanley Edward and Betty Jo (Fullerton) Voss and was born June 4, 1949.

Pamela was raised in Ada, Oklahoma, and attended Ada Public Schools. She attended Abilene Christian College, and Oklahoma Baptist University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Music Education.

She moved to Unionville, Missouri and returned to Oklahoma, living in Henryetta, Tecumseh, and Norman, before settling in Shawnee where she has resided for the last 10 years.

Pamela was a teacher for 43 years until retiring in 2015. She was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh. She enjoyed singing and performed with the Sweet Adelines of Oklahoma City. She was also an avid reader and lifelong learner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Stanley Edward and Betty Jo Voss, and one infant sister.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 24 years, Byron Holt of the home; daughter Amber (Pringle) and her husband Tom of Tecumseh, OK, and their children Herbie and wife Alesha, Tryston, Ethan, Deklyn, Lindsay, and Devin and husband Joshua; daughter Kacey (Komarek) and husband Josh of Owensboro, KY, and their children Jackson, Ethan, and Ella; daughter Karen Holt of Austin, TX; brother Randy Voss and wife Mayumi of Ibaraki, Japan; sister-in-law Ann Boyd of Norman, OK; honorary son Gene Wilcox and wife Jessica of Tecumseh, OK; 4 great grandchildren; 3 nephews; and countless other extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 6 at Highland Church of Christ in Tecumseh with Erick Henson and Eddy Parker officiating under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to Downtown Pentecostal Church Portal of Care for Foster and Adoptive Families.
