Jimmy Holloway, 66 year old Mooreland resident, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. Visitation will be held at the funeral home in Woodward on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Per Jimmy's wishes there will be no service. Arrangements are under the direction of the Billings Funeral Home.
Jimmy Ray Holloway was born on June 23, 1955 in Mooreland, Oklahoma to Cecil Ray and Helen Louise (Ingraham) Holloway. He went to grade school in Straight, Oklahoma before the family moved to Hooker. He then attended and graduated from Hooker High School. Jimmy worked at the Mooreland County Barn, Halliburton, Hooper Construction, and was currently a Equipment Operator for Clean Harbors. He was united in marriage to Alisa Hadley on July 11, 2001 in Mooreland, Oklahoma. They made their home in Mooreland and have lived there since that time.
He loved spending time with family and friends, hunting, fishing, playing cards and his second love was golfing, you could pretty much always find him on the golf course somewhere showing his boys how it's done. He loved giving his daughter Courtney a hard time about the Texas Longhorns, but was the first to buy her anything Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Alisa Holloway of the home; sons: Brant Holloway of Edmond, Dakota Holloway of Mooreland, Brayden Holloway of Mooreland; his daughter he loved like his own, Courtney Hadley and wife Tasha of Mooreland; his mother, Helen Holloway of Mooreland; sisters, Sherry Dewald and husband Dirk of Mooreland, Sandra Taylor and husband Jim of Cushing; father-in-law, Gary Donley of Mooreland; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Troy Hadley and wife Anita of Winfield, Kansas, Dustin Donley and wife Sonya of Mooreland, Garrett Donley and wife Heather of Mooreland; nieces, nephews, and other family: Travis Dewald and wife Monica and their children of Enid, Tanner Dewald and wife Becca and their children of Mooreland, Trey Dewald and wife Katy Jo and their children of Mooreland, Justyce and Trey Hutchinson of Woodward, Kase Donley of Mooreland, Clayton Donley of Mooreland, Dallas Donley of Mooreland, Lane Donley of Mooreland, Tucker Donley of Mooreland, April Spangler and husband Payton and their children of Winfield, Kansas, Sarah Hadley and her children of Winfield, Kansas, Megan Hadley and her child of Winfield, Kansas; other family and many friends.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Ray Holloway and his mother-in-law, Shirley Donley.
