Mary Louise Wilton Hollenback was born July 21, 1922 in Parsons, Kansas the daughter of Elmer Richard and Etta Mae (Smith) Wilton. She completed this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020 in Oklahoma City at the age of 98.
Mary served our country during World War II in the United States Coast Guard from 1944 to 1946. She married Leonard Grady Hollenback on June 16, 1956. They made their home in Waco, Kansas for many years where she was an office manager for an Optometrist. Leonard preceded her in death on September 17, 2004. After his death she moved to Oklahoma City where she had an active life. She enjoyed her years living at the Statesman and being a member of Village Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Dianne Phillips Mize and her husband Frank; her grandchildren, Brett Phillips, Lori Meek and Christopher Phillips; her great grandchildren, D. J. Tapp, Gabrielle Tapp, Wyatt Tapp, Damian Henna, Tori Phillips and Lindsay Miller.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Thursday at the Vondel Smith Mortuary. Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 11, 2020 at the Vondel Smith Mortuary North, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Waco Cemetery, Waco, KS.
