Linda Lou Holland (Grooms) born to Earl and Hazel Grooms of Stilwell, Ok on May 7, 1943, joined the Lord on June 25, 2014.
Linda moved to Tulsa in 1961 to work as a secretary. She married David Holland, Sr and had one son, David, Jr. In 1985 she found her calling as an Administrative Secretary in the Tulsa County District Attorney's office. It was there she met Larry Edwards and Danna Hayworth. Both were co-workers but called her "mom." She had a reputation for being firm and supportive – but only if she liked you.
When she retired in 2008, she returned to her home place in the Oak Grove Community outside of Stilwell, along with her husband, David. And she lived her final days there. She was 71 years of age.
Linda enjoyed a full life surrounded by family: her brother, Tim Grooms and his wife Jan, their children Kim Smith and daughter Audrey; Steve Grooms and wife Stacy, with Steve's daughter, Shayla,. Linda's son, David Holland, Jr and wife, Julie, with her only grandchild Chynna Holland.
Linda was preceeded in death by her parents and husband.
