Gary Dale Holland passed from this life on November 11, 2024, in Calera, Oklahoma, at the age of 72.
Gary was born to Robert Freeman Holland and Mary Kathryn Holland (Lee) on June 14, 1952, in Durant, Oklahoma. Gary married the love of his life, Judy Marie Holland (Shrader) on April 19, 1997, at Fairview Baptist Church. Gary retired from Southeastern College as a groundskeeper. In his free time, he enjoyed working beside his mother at Hollands Greenhouse and mowing yards with his brother, Duane. Gary enjoyed bowling and was a member of a bowling league in his younger years. Gary also had a love for hunting, taking care of his cows, and spending time with his family.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Freeman and Mary Holland, father-in-law, Charles Shrader, Grandparents, James Hubert and Bertha Lee, Robert and Juda Holland, niece, Kathy Kost, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, Judy Holland, of the home, daughter, Ashley Holland, son, Dakota Holland, brother, Randy and Carolyn Holland, brother, Duane Holland, mother-in-law, Florence Shrader, sister-in-law, Deborah Krantz, brother-in-law, Bobby and Dave, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services are under the direction of Brown’s Funeral Service of Durant.
A memorial service for Gary will be held on Friday, November 15, 2024, at 10:00 AM, at Brown’s Funeral Service Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma.
