June 26, 1951 ~ January 21, 2018

On January 21, 2018 Larry Jack Holder passed away at the age of 66 in Durant Oklahoma surrounded by Family after a short battle with Cancer. Larry will be forever remembered by his family and friends.

Larry was born June 26, 1951 in Durant, Oklahoma to Elberg Houston Holder and Bessie Ann Holder. Larry grew up in Durant, Oklahoma where he lived and worked his whole life. Larry was a Carpenter by trade and he loved what he did.

Larry is survived by his Daughters: Misty Dodson of Lone Grove, Oklahoma, Angie Bates and Husband Derrick Bates of Calera, Oklahoma & Wendy Stringer and Husband Matt Stringer of Denison, Texas, Son: Michael Large of Anna, Texas. Long Time Girlfriend: Sherry Speers of Calera, Oklahoma. Brothers: Buddy Holder of Durant, Oklahoma, Jessie Holder and Wife Rhonda Holder of Calera, Oklahoma, Charles Mimms of Durant, Oklahoma. Sisters: Carolyn House of Durant, Oklahoma, Wanda Harmon and Husband Don Harmon of Durant, Oklahoma, Linda Howell and Husband Charles Howell of Durant, Oklahoma & Donna Holder of Durant, Oklahoma. Grandchildren: Andrew Vinson, Zachary Vinson, Bradley Dodson, Samantha Kay Bates, Moranda Stringer and Amber Stringer. Great Grand Children: Ryland Montoya, Amelia Montoya, Isaiah Cronin and Emmah Cronin. Numerous Loving Nieces, Nephews and Life Long Friends.

Larry is proceeded in death by his Father Elberg Houston Holder and Mother Bessie Ann Holder. Sisters: Melba Ruth Holder, Joann Shinn, Debra Kay Mimms, Sister in Law: Virginia Holder, Brother in Law: Wesley House Sr and Step Son: Shannon Speers

A Celebration of Life will be held for his family and friends on February, 3rd, 2018 at 11:00 AM Cunningham Funeral Home in Colbert, Oklahoma.
