Dorma Lee (Jenkins) Hogue

June 17, 1930 ~ Nov. 9, 2002

Dorma Lee Hogue died unexpectedly in her Woodland home Saturday, Nov. 9, 2002, at age 72.

Born June 17, 1930, in Oklahoma, Mrs. Hogue was the daughter of Jess and Margaret (Howard) Jenkins. She had a Woodland resident for 40 years. According to her family members, "she enjoyed bingo and trips to Reno as well as her family and friends."

Mrs. Hogue is survived by her daughters, Joyce Johnson, Margaret Brown and husband Phil; and son, Gary Hogue, all of Woodland.

She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leann Martinelli and husband Tony, Brenda Johnson and Jason Brown and Kristen, all of Woodland, Gary Ray Hogue Jr., Devan Hogue and Boo Hogue, all of Idaho; great-grandchildren, Dakota and Carissa Martinelli, Trinity Brown, all of Woodland, and Juan Brown of Idaho; sisters, Irene Coffee, Dutch and husband Clyde Austin of Firebaugh, Anita and husband Rip van Winkle, Mary and husband Harry Yubanks of Modesto, Peggy and husband Melvin Hicks of Santa Clara; brother, Frank Jenkins of Modesto; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hogue was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hogue, in 1955; sister, Alamae Bryant; and brother, Jack Jenkins.

Respecting the wishes of Mrs. Hogue, no services are scheduled.

The family requests memorials be directed to the charity of the donor's choice.

McNary's Chapel of Woodland is assisting the family with arrangements.
