Imogene R. (Jean) Hogan passed away on November 2, 2005 at Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, CA with her family at her side.
She was born on September 25, 1925 in Caddo, Oklahoma.
Imogene and her husband Paul were married in June 1942. She traveled with him to various states while he was in the United States Air Force. They started their family in Oklahoma City and moved to Bakersfield, California in 1959. The family relocated to Santa Maria in 1966.
She is survived by their children, Rick Hogan and wife, Terri of Bakersfield, Paul Steven Hogan of Santa Maria, Sherry Hogan Harrison and husband, Mike of Santa Maria, 11 grandchildren, Timothy and Christopher Harrison, Kristi, Rocky, Emily and Anna Hogan, Eric Hogan, Mike and Tony Tinsley, Melina Thornton and Shannon Smith; 17 great-grandchildren; a sister, Bonnie Towery of Bakersfield and numerous nieces and nephews.
Six of her grandchildren will act as pallbearers.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Paul R. Hogan; sister, Wilma Estrada and brother, Willard Tackitt.
She devoted her life to her husband and family and will be dearly missed. Visitation will be held Monday, November 7th, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., at Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2005, at 2:00 p.m., at the chapel of the of the Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary. Burial will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery.
