Walter "Jeff" Hoffman, a resident of Denison, Texas, and beloved family member, left this life at his home, and began a new life with his Savior on Wednesday September 5th, 2018 at the age of 55. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Walter F. Hoffman and Sue (Risner) Hoffman. Jeff married his beloved Marjie in Patterson, California on December 17, 1989.
Jeff was a loving husband and father. His two grandsons brought much joy to him. He was called into the Ministry in his early 20’s while attending Bible College. Serving God and his people were his passion. He and his family attended Victory Life Church for 11 years. Jeff was the program director at Four Rivers Outreach in Sherman, Texas. He was honored to be a part of it and grateful for the many relationships he built while there.
Mr. Hoffman is survived by his cherished wife Marjie of the home; children, Brittani Hoffman of Durant, Oklahoma, Jonathon Hoffman and wife Cassadi of Durant, Oklahoma, and Jacob Hoffman of Denison, Texas; beloved grandsons, Lincoln and Milo Hoffman; siblings, Russell Hoffman of Napoleon, Michigan, Ron Hoffman of Grass Lake, Michigan, and Mary Kiel and husband Rick of Chelsea Michigan; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hoffman was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Sue Hoffman; nieces, Nicole Kiel and Vickie Martin; nephew, Reno Patrick; and sister, Fayetta Patrick.
A celebration of his life will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 8th at the Victory Life Church in Sherman, Texas with Pastor Terry Brown officiating.
