Lonny Neal Hoffman, 76, passed away on June 5, 2017 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 2:00p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Perry. Palmer Marler Funeral Home of Perry is entrusted with arrangements.

Lonny was born the second oldest of three on September 6, 1940 in Perry, Oklahoma to Gilbert and Edna (Williams) Hoffman. The family moved to Scribner where he accepted Jesus and was baptized on April 29, 1956 at the United Lutheran Church of Scribner. He attended Scribner schools.

Lonny married the love of his life Mary Jane Brenner on June 29, 1988 in West Point, Nebraska. They moved to Stillwater where he was employed by the Stillwater Medical Center for several years until he retired in the mid 90's. He was an avid sports fan of whatever was in season and on T.V. and a devoted husband.

Lonny is survived by his children Wayne and fiancĂ©e Wendy of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Gail and husband "Duck" Kent, and Daniel Brenner of Billings, Oklahoma, whom he adopted from Mary Jane. Brother Bob Hoffman of Perry, Oklahoma, and adopted sister Rita Dockweiler of Wahoo, Nebraska, he is also survived by his grandchildren, Megan, Wayne Jr., Lonnie, Amber, Alicia, James, Sage Riden and Alex Riden.

He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, his son Ronald Hoffman and his brother Bill Hoffman.
