Jack W. Hodges
May 29, 1935 ~ January 04, 2016

Jack W. Hodges was born May 29, 1935 in Lake Charles, LA to Rev. Arthur E. Hodges and Mrs. Zadie Mae Hodges. He passed peacefully from this life on January 4, 2016 in Tucson, AZ at the age of 80 years old.

Jack owned and operated 2 funeral homes in DeKalb, MS before moving to Collinsville, OK in 1986 with his wife Sherwin and daughter, Tamara to purchase and operate Collinsville Funeral Home and later opened a funeral home in Oologah, OK. He retired in 2006.

Jack served as Mayor of Collinsville and as president of the Collinsville Chamber of Commerce.

Jack is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother and son.

Jack is survived by: 3 sisters and 2 brother-in-law�s. 4 daughters: Dwylene Allen and Family of Tucson, AZ., Rhonda Garrett and Family of Phoenix, AZ., Sonya Bryant and Family of Canton, MS and Tamara and Jeff Conner and Family of Collinsville, OK. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Friday, January 8, 2016 in Tucson, AZ.

A special viewing will be noon to 8:00 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2016 at the Collinsville Dolton Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Floral Hill Cemetery in Pearl, MS.
