Big Cabin-
Ashley was a curious soul who was always seeking to
understand the world around her. Throughout her life, she searched for the
“whys” and “hows,” learning all she could and finding wonder in discovery.
She loved to travel, explore nature, and uncover the unique beauty in every
place she visited. With a keen eye for art, she brought coloring books to
life with fun and bright colors. She found joy in music, and when she wasn't
enjoying the comfort of silence, there was always music blasting.
Ashley was a light in difficult times. She was the kind of friend you never knew you needed but felt grateful to have. She cared deeply for others and wanted everyone to feel loved and seen. Above all, Ashley treasured being a mother; her daughters were the center of her world, and she devoted herself to their happiness, even when life made things challenging.
Ashley Nichole Hockin was so much more than just a mother though. She was a daughter, a sister, a friend, and someone who lived authentically and fearlessly as herself. She was kind and generous, a patient listener, a comforting presence, and a bright smile when others needed it most. To meet her was to remember her, and she will be forever cherished by all those who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Jordin Davis of Big Cabin, OK, and Alexis Andreasen of Pryor, OK; parents, Don and Stephanie Hockin of Big Cabin, OK; and sister, Sherri Wooddell of Vinita, OK.
