Velma Lou (Rutherford) Hobgood, age 72, a Lehigh resident, was born on February 25, 1952, to Bert C. Rutherford and Pearl Faye (Compton) Tisdale, at Oroville, CA. Velma passed away on December 14, 2024 at Lehigh, OK. She received her GED. Velma was a Home maker. She married Larry Bob Hobgood on April 16, 1973 at Durant, OK. Velma enjoyed yard selling, the casino, watching Gunsmoke, and most of all she loved playing with Squishy (Chastyn).
