ENID - Celebration of life services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2021, in Sojourn Church (902 S. Adams), Pastor Jim Day officiating. Arrangements under the guidance of Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Celebration of life services for Philip Leon Hobbs, 60, Enid resident, will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 20, 2021 in Sojourn Church (902 S. Adams) with Pastor Jim Day officiating. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of the Amy Stittsworth Funeral Service.

Philip was born on March 15, 1960 in Enid, the son of Bernard and Joyce (Clark) Hobbs, and passed away peacefully on February 9, 2021 at his residence.

He was raised and educated in Enid, graduating from Chisholm High School with the class of 1978. Philip married Donna Owens in Enid on December 15, 1979. He worked as a welder and pipe fitter, and was a member of Plumber’s and Pipe Fitter’s union Local 344. Phil worked for Luckinbill for over 20 years. For the last seven years, Philip worked for Hobbs Piping and Fab. Philip was a member of Emmanuel Enid. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and creating memories with family and friends. Philip was a big fan of OU Football.

Survivors include his wife, Donna of the residence; sons, Chad and wife Stacie Hobbs of Enid, and Kyle Hobbs and fiance’ Courtney Vaughn of Enid; grandchildren, Caden, Gentry, Jax, Hank, and Ridge.

Philip was preceded in passing by his parents.

The family has selected Sojourn Church as appropriate for memorial donations.
