Donna Kay (Jones) Hitt
November 14, 1958 ~ February 20, 2020

Donna Kay Hitt, age 61 passed away on Thursday February 20, 2020 in Denison Texas with her family and friends by her side. She was born in Dallas Texas to James Earl Jones and Glenda Browder on November 14, 1958.

Donna grew up in Mesquite Texas where she went to high school and attended West Mesquite Baptist Church. Donna worked at Doc’s Drive In for many years during her career. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, watching cooking shows, puzzle books, brushing her hair and she loved dogs.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents James Jones and Glenda Browder, her grandparents J.E. and Viola Jones, her grandma Freda Cave and the father of her children Robert Hitt.

Donna is survived by her daughters Cristel Hitt of Mesquite, TX, Sammie Hitt and spouse Joe Knight of Durant, OK. Sister Kimmy Jones and brother Bo Jones of Fairfield, TX. She also leaves behind her grandkids Nataley, Tyler, Noah, Mia Bella, Nicholas, Johnathan and Trinity.

Donna was a tough woman, she fought a long hard battle. She is at peace now, being the Donna Kay that we all once knew and love.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Brown's Funeral Service in Durant.
