Christy Elaine (Phares) Hitch
April 20, 1963 ~ July 31, 2019

A celebration of life will occur for Christy Elaine (Phares) Hitch on August 24th, 2019 at 2:00pm. The celebration will be held at Unity Center of Tulsa 1830 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119.

Christy was born in Enid, OK on April 20, 1963 to Barbara (Carter) Phares and Chettie Phares. She passed away in Daytona Beach, FL at her home surrounded by her family on July 31, 2019. Christy attended Phillips University where she obtained her bachelors degree and Oklahoma City University for her MBA.

Christy worked for Pennwell Publishing Company as Vice President of IT Applications. She is survived by her husband Michael Hitch, daughter Brianna Griffin (Christopher), mother Barbara Phares, brother Brad Miller, brother Vinnie Phares, stepdaughters Tamara Lamborn (Travis), Rachel Peterson (Christopher), Rebekah Tucker (Robert), and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Unity Center of Tulsa or Halifax Health Hospice Care.
