Barbara Jean Hinesley, 80, of Seminole, Oklahoma passed from this life Thursday, July 13, 2023 in Seminole.
She was born July 3, 1943 to Burleigh and Eunice Belle (Rutledge) Garretson in Bakersfield, California.
Barbara was raised in Bowlegs, Oklahoma and graduated with the class of 1961 from Bowlegs High School. She moved to Oklahoma City and then settled in the Macomb area.
She worked in the meat department at Pratts for many years, later working for COJAC.
Barbara enjoyed cooking and flowers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burleigh and Eunice Garretson; and husband, Tommy Hinesley.
Survivors include 1 daughter, Shannon Hinesley; 3 sons, Tim and Jintana Birkicht of Ft. McMurray Canada, Randy and Andrea Birkickt of Macomb, OK and Kevin Birkicht of Oklahoma City, OK; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 1 sister, Virginia Bane; 2 brothers, Donald Garretson and Gary Garretson; and other extended family and friends.
Per Barbara’s wishes no formal services will be held. Arrangements under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home of Tecumseh.
