Jaxon Raider Hindman

Jaxon Raider Hindman
May 17, 2007 ~ January 18, 2026

Jaxon Raider Hindman, lovingly known as Jacky Poo, Jax, Jack, and Jackie, passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 18, surrounded by those who loved him most.

Jaxon was born on May 17, 2007, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Copan, Oklahoma, for the past five years, where he made lasting friendships and left a meaningful mark on everyone who knew him.

He was the beloved son of Gabrielle Ann Renee’ Rice and Terry Hindman, and a cherished brother, nephew, grandson, and friend. Jaxon graduated from Copan High School and was already becoming an accomplished craftsman at a young age.

Jaxon was known for his incredible work ethic and versatility. He worked for M.H. Lawncare as a landscaper and mower, where he was proudly described by the owner Unk as “the hardest working employee on the company by far.” He also worked in construction with Early Construction, taking on everything from framing to tile work, and later with Sanders Masonry, where he laid brick and poured concrete. Truly a “Jax of all trades,” there was little he couldn’t do when he put his mind to it.

An avid outdoorsman, Jaxon found peace and joy outside. He loved camping and fishing with his grandpa and Bill King, shed hunting and deadhead hunting with his uncle, and had recently begun learning how to noodle. The outdoors was where he felt most alive, and those memories will be treasured forever.

Above all, Jaxon was a wonderful and deeply loved son, brother, nephew, and friend. His loyalty, humor, determination, and kind heart will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him.

Jaxon is survived by his mother, Gabrielle Shelly; his sister and best friend, Devany Grace Hindman; his brothers, R.J. Purdum, Anthony Joseph Purdum, Justus Kawah Tatum, and Thane Hindman; his aunt Savanah Newbold; his uncle Mathew Dillan Hindman; his aunt Katie Dawn Jordan; and his grandpa, Bubber, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Honorary pallbearers will be Devany Hindman, Nick Alday, Clayton Sanders, Steve Early, Kaitlyn Alden, Mathew Hindman, Justus Tatum, R.J. Purdum, Anthony Purdum, Russell Hadland, Murphy Boy, and Jayden Shaffer.

A public viewing will be held on January 21, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Stumpff Funeral Home.

Jaxon’s life, though far too short, was full of purpose, love, and hard-earned pride.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him and in every life he touched.
