Wanda "Nadine" Himebaugh
June 18, 1930 ~ March 1, 2020

Wanda Nadine Himebaugh, 89 went to her heavenly home on March 1st 2020. She was born on June 18th 1930 to Ernest and Cassa Chambers. In 1951, she graduated from nursing school and began her lifelong passion. She started her family in Enid, Oklahoma. Her 6 children blessed her with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She eventually made Oklahoma City her home for 51 years.

Nadine loved her family most of all. She was a selfless, strong willed woman who loved caring for people. She was a RN for 56 years, retiring 7 times. She was a true angel on earth. Nadine loved the theatre and you never left her house with an empty stomach. Her ideal afternoon was sipping hot tea, reading a mystery novel and watching a Hallmark movie. She was a professional antique shopper and loved fancy hats. Nadine truly loved life and was the matriarch of this family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Melanie Kirk-Totten, Shelley Bourgoin; great-grandsons, Amadeu Garcia, Lealon Freeman; great-granddaughter, Eleanor Holt; brothers, Gene Chambers, Noel Chambers; and sister, Joel Faye Mitchell.

Nadine is survived by 4 children, Kenneth Kirk, Rene Michael & Don Butler, Tammy Garcia & Roberto, Shannon & Mike Green; 8 grandchildren, Stanley Michael, Juan Garcia & Summer, Travis Bourgoin & Misty, Serina Garcia-Freeman & Jacob, Joshua Holt & Brandi, Laurel Garcia, Alyssa Pittenger & Hunter, Zachary Garcia; and 10 great-grandchildren, Josiah, Romeo, Braelyn, Wyatt, Meara, Aveyah, Davina, Vaira, Phoenix, Atticus; and many other family members and friends. She will be unimaginably missed.
