Rebecca M. "Becky" (Buchanan) Hill

Rebecca M. "Becky" (Buchanan) Hill
December 9, 1982 ~ October 25, 2024

A memorial service to remember and celebrate the life of Rebecca M. “Becky” Hill will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2024, in the chapel at DeLozier Funeral Service. Becky passed away in Tulsa, OK on Friday, October 25, 2024. She was 41.

Born in Claremore, OK on December 9, 1982, to Thomas and Mary-Anne (Theall) Buchanan. Becky was raised and educated in Chelsea and graduated from Chelsea High School with the class of 2001. Following graduation Becky attended Northeast Area Vo-Tech and received her LPN certificate. This was a huge accomplishment for Becky, and she was so proud of that achievement. On July 10, 2018, at the wedding chapel in Claremore, OK, Becky married the love of her life Matthew Hill. They became a blended family with 3 children, Zeth, Wyatt and Courtney.

Although her life was short Becky spent each day making a difference. Her life was work and family oriented and it showed in everything she did. She was an excellent nurse and a huge advocate for all her patients. Becky even went as far as getting her aunt Melinda transferred to the facility, she was working in to make sure all her needs were met. Even though her work career was demanding, Becky still excelled at being a mother. She had a unique and special bond with each of her children. Becky made sure that the time they were together special memories were being made.

When free time did present itself; bowling, fishing and swimming were some of her favorite past times. Becky liked to bake and was the person that made the candy for the holidays. Her home was her safe place, and she liked the mini zoo that they had on their property. It had a little bit of everything from dogs, cats, snakes and even very large spiders. When it came to football, she tolerated it only because it was important to her husband and son.

A young lady that has left a huge footprint and legacy that will live on in the lives of her family and friends. Becky is survived by her husband Matthew, children, Zeth Buchanan, Wyatt Huckleby and Courtney Huckleby, brothers, Andrew Buchanan and wife Angela and James Buchanan, grandparents, Robert Theall, Shirley Buchanan-Vanderpool, niece, Hailey Buchanan, nephews, Nathan Warren and Bryce Warren, great aunts Jeanette Parks and Dawn and husband George Lund, aunts and uncles, Janet and Tony Bates, Robert and Tanya Theall, Allen and Amee Buchanan, Debbie and Bobby Nichols and Melinda Alvarado, and numerous cousins and extended family. Becky was preceded in death by her grandparents, Joann Theall, Gloria Theall, Thomas Buchanan and Julia Short.
