Martha Louise Hill

Martha Louise Hill
August 14, 1954 ~ April 15, 2020

Martha Louise Hill, known to many as “Louise” or “Lenora”, was a resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, and a devoted member to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. At age 65, Louise left this earth to be with our Heavenly Father and her beloved mother and father on April 15, 2020.

She is survived by her son George Hill and his wife Jessica Hill, their children Audrey, Logan, Savannah and Cora, as well as sister Melinda Hill, niece Christina Surls and husband Matt Surls, niece Wendi Bluemel and husband Pascal Bluemel, great-nephew Hagen Surls, great-niece Ava Saunders, close friends Todd and Kerry Nichols, Ed and Helen Bristol, and countless additional family members and brothers and sisters of The Church.

Louise was born to Christine and Wilbur Hill on August 14, 1954, in El Paso, Texas, and raised in Chautauqua, Kansas. Throughout her life Louise was a crafter at heart, and she enjoyed fabric painting and knitting gifts for family and friends, almost as much as she loved singing silly songs and rocking in her rocking chair. Listening to bird calls while swinging and practicing embroidery were among her other passions in life.

In recent years Louise had been refining her singing skills and had hoped to hold a concert for her beloved family and friends sometime soon. Due to the current Covid-19 virus outbreak there will be no viewing or public services. The family will hold a small and intimate graveside service. In lieu of flowers, Louise’s family requests that donations be made to Bartlesville Health and Rehab Community, 3434 SE Kentucky Place, Bartlesville, OK 74006.

Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel. Online condolences and remembrances may be shared at www.DavisFamilyFuneralHome.com.
