Berbeth L. Hill, 70, of Amarillo, died Saturday, July 3, 1999.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Blackburn-Shaw Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel, 315 E. Fifth, with the Rev. Robert Field, of Southeast Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hill was born in Rush Springs, Okla. and moved to Amarillo in the late 1950s from Lubbock. She was a waitress and a member of Southeast Baptist Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Denise Whittington and Charlotte Medart, both of Amarillo, and Melissa Browning of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sons, Robert Jones and Gary Jones, both of Amarillo, and James Hill of Centreville, Mich.; a brother, Willie Buck Rodgers of Amarillo; five sisters, Mary Kennedy of Wheeler, Mildred Miller of Bay Point, Calif., Esther Simpson of Twin Falls, Idaho, Kaye Moore of Aztec, N.M. and Lois Downey of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Baptist St. Anthony's Hospice and Life Enrichment Center.
