Gerald Reagan Hightower, of Stratford, Oklahoma was born October 27, 1935 in Antiock, Texas to John and Blanche (Goodman) Hightower. He passed away at his home near Stratford at the age of 84 years 6 months and 18 days. He served our country in the United States Army. He was stationed in Washington DC, where one of his duties was to guard the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington Cemetery. He married Mary Clayton on October 10, 1979 in Chandler, Texas. They loved to go dancing, and one other hobby was loving to fish. He worked for AT&T until retirement.
