Jack Louis Hicks was born on July 13, 1959 to Jack Louis and Sharon Kathleen (Childers) Hicks in Porterville, California. Jack lived with his family in Porterville, attending Alta Vista Elementary and Monache High School. When Jack was 20, he moved to Seiling, Oklahoma where he lived until his passing. On July 15, 1985 Jack was married to the love of his life Sharon Marie Richards in Seiling. To this union was born one son, Brandon Hicks. Jack was also the father of one daughter, Tonya.
Jack worked as a shop hand at Tony’s Pump Supply during his life. When Jack wasn’t working, he enjoyed riding motorcycles, playing with his nieces and nephews, hunting and fishing, and waterskiing.
Jack passed from this life on August 16, 2019. Preceding him in death are his paternal grandparents Jason Hicks and Ruby Hicks; and his maternal grandparents Fred Childers and Garnette Hooks.
Jack is survived by his wife Sharon Hicks of the home; son Brandon Hicks of Seiling, OK; daughter Tonya Weiland; parents Jack and Sharon Hicks of Canton, OK; sister Joan Schneider and husband Carl of Porterville, CA; brother Mark Hicks of Salinas, CA; several aunts and uncles; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of loved ones and friends.
