Irmgard Mimi (Brussler) Hester

March 31, 1930 ~ May 13, 2000

HESTER Irmgard Mimi Brussler Hester, age 70, died May 13, 2000, following a short illness. She was born on March 31, 1930 in Eschwege, Germany to Ernst and Anne Marie Brussler.

She married the love of her life, Louis L. Hester in Germany, and came to the United States in 1950. She was naturalized November 11, 1954 in Bremerton, Washington.

She was employed by Foley's Department Store, until they recently retired her. She was an active member of Central Presbyterian Church, where she was also amember of the choir. She was also an active member of the Presbyterian Cursillo.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, Louis L. Hester and one grandson, Bryan Lee Morgan.

She is survived by one brother, Gunter Brussler of Rosenheim, Germany,one son, Jon L. Hester, and his wife, Karen K. Hester of OKC and two daughters, Frances A. Gamble and her husband Garry Gamble, of Nocona, Texas & Deborah J. Morgan, and her husband James M. Morgan, of OKC. She has 5 grandchildren, Gregory S.Hester,andhis wife Jacqueline Hester, OKC, Scott A. Hester, Norman, Michael D. Hester, Tulsa, Timothy J. Morgan, OKC, and Jennifer M. Morgan, currently deployed by the Navy on the U.S.S. John C. Stennis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cursillo Scholarship Fund, Hospice of Oklahoma County, Inc. or the local or national Spina Bifida Association. Services will be at Central Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, May 16, 2000 at 10:30 A.M. Interment will be at the Nocona Cemetery inNocona,Texas. A special thank you is extended by the family to Hospice of Oklahoma County, especially Brad and Candy, and to the many volunteers who helped at the home.
