Gary Dean Herold

October 11, 1942 ~ January 31, 2020

Gary Dean Herold, 77, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020, at The Lodge in Warner Robins, Georgia. A private service will be held later for family and friends.

Gary was born on October 11, 1942, in Wichita, Kansas, to the late Elroy and Marian Noreen (Terwort) Herold. He worked most of his life in retail and retired from TG&Y where he was a district manager. Gary loved his family and spending time with them, most notably he enjoyed fixing up and working on cars with his sons. He always had a garden and truly enjoyed gardening. Later in his life, Gary enjoyed woodworking and building. His greatest joy came from his family whom he was most proud.

Left to cherish his memory is his beloved wife, Malaine (Griffin) Herold of Warner Robins, Georgia; daughter Michelle Wells (Jay) of Kathleen, Georgia; sons Stan Herold of Newnan, Georgia, and Aaron Herold (Suzanne) of Kirkland, Washington; five grandchildren: Nicole, Brittany, Jessica, Zach and Zane; and two great-grandchildren: Oliver and Jaylynn.

Please visit http://www.burpeescottmemorialchapel.com to sign the online guestbook and to leave a memorial for the family. With honor, Burpee-Scott Memorial Chapel & Crematory has been entrusted with arrangements.
