Brian Charles Herndon, age 54, of Wayne, OK passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City. Brian was born on February 28, 2964 in Oklahoma City. His parents were Charles Presley Herndon and Delores Gail (Crockett) Herndon. Brian grew up in Del City and graduated from Del City High School in 1982. He later had several years of college and had proudly served in the U. S. Army for several years.
Brian married Sally Ann Almy on December 20, 1991 in Ada, OK. He lived and worked in various towns and different states before moving to Wayne, OK in 2010. Brian worked most of his life in the restaurant business. He was unable to work for the past several years because of his failing health. While working in the business, his last job was working as the Director of Operations for a fast food chain.
Brian was Chickasaw and proud of his Indian heritage. He loved spending time on his computer, watching Dallas Cowboys football and OSU football. He loved animals, especially his dogs. He will be greatly missed.

Wife, Sally Ann Almy Herndon of the home in Wayne.
Daughter, Amanda Vance and husband Rodney of Norman.
Several sisters and a host of other family members and friends.
Private memorial services will be held by his family at a later date.
Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
