Carol Lynne (Lawver) Herman
March 27, 1936 ~ September 5, 2017

Carol L. Herman, age 81 and Bartlesville resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 in St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carol Lynne Lawver was born on March 27, 1936 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Arthur George Lawver and Alta Ione (Moon) Lawver. She was raised in Bartlesville and graduated from College High in 1954.

On June 26,1959, Carol and Richard A. Herman were united in marriage in Bartlesville. They later moved to Jenks, Oklahoma in 1971 where they raised their four children, Sherri, Michael, Debbie and Steven. Carol was a full-time homemaker. They were married for 58 years prior to her death.

Carol was a member of the East Cross United Methodist Church, Bartlesville. She also was a member of the Quilting/Sewing Club in Bartlesville, which she enjoyed very much. She loved doing many things, especially "shopping". However, the thing she enjoyed most was having her family around her.

She is survived by her husband, Richard, of the family home; children, Sherri Greenway and her husband, Jim, of Jenks, Michael Herman and his wife, Marilyn, of Berryhill, Oklahoma, Debbie Brashear and her husband, Mark, of Bartlesville, and Steven A. Herman and his wife, Cheryl of Glenpool, Oklahoma; and 11 grandchildren.

Memorials in Carol's memory may be sent to East Cross United Methodist Church, 820 Madison Blvd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.

Come and go visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave.

Services for Carol will be held on Friday, September 8, at 10:00 AM in the East Cross United Methodist Church, 820 S. Madison. Pastor Jeff Burress will be the officiant.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home.
