Laura Robina (Lytle) Henson
October 18, 1925 ~ February 20, 2013

Funeral services for Laura Robina Henson were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at the Avant Baptist Church with Bro. Paul Koonce, officiating. Private family interment will follow under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.

Laura Robina Henson, age 87. Of Avant, died at 3:33 p.m. Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

Laura was born October 18, 1925 in Cooper, Oklahoma to William Maxwell and Tillie Ethyl (Moyer) Lytle. Laura grew up and received her education in Avant. Laura married Raymond Floyd Henson on June 20, 1942 in Pawhuska and they made their home in Barnsdall, Pawhuska, Bartlesville and moved to Avant in 1971 where they have made their home since that time. Laura liked to needlepoint, cross stitch, playing piano and shopping. Laura was a member of the Avant Baptist Church.

Laura was preceded in death by her mother and father, three sisters, one half sister, one half brother, one son; Raymond Edward Henson, one great granddaughter: Nikki Ann Maldonado and one son-in-law; Ronald Kesler.

Laura is survived by her husband of seventy years Raymond Henson, three children; Janette Kesler of Bartlesville, Ronald Henson of Barnsdall, Peggy Maldonado of Dewey and Tim Henson of Barnsdall, six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
