A. Neil Henson

Villanova, Pennsylvania – A. Neil Henson, formerly of Enid, died Sunday in a Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, hospital. Memorial service will be at 11 AM Wednesday in the Church of the Savior in Wayne, Pennsylvania. Burial will be in the Valley Forge Memorial Park Cemetery at Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.

Henson resided at 890 Leslie Rd., Villanova, PA, and also had a home in Cape Coral, Florida. He founded Cummins Diesel Engine, Inc., of Philadelphia in 1937, and was president and chairman of the board until his retirement in 1967.

Henson attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Brown Henson; one son, Richard, New Brunswick, New Jersey; two step – sons, Thomas Getz, Annapolis, Maryland, and Donald Getz, Wilmington, North Carolina; one sister, Margaret Henson Greene, Tampa, Florida; one brother, Orland, Casper, Wyoming; and seven grandchildren.
