Larry Hensley, 75 year old Mooreland resident died Wednesday, February 1, 2023 in Mooreland. Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in the Billings Funeral Home Chapel.

Larry Wayne Hensley was born on October 19, 1947 in Mooreland, Oklahoma the son of Verlon Duane and Mildred Alyeene (Malm) Hensley. As a child Larry and his family spent time in Mooreland, Guymon, Gruver, Texas, Laverene and returned to Mooreland where Larry graduated from Mooreland High School. He served his country in the United States Army from 1967 until 1971 when he was honorable discharged. Larry was blessed with two children, Kristal and Cody. He traveled the country working as mill right, he was a very experienced carpenter.

He loved the to camp and fish spend time with family and friends. Larry was a true Christian, and loved the Lord he carried his bible everywhere with him.

Larry is survived by his two children, Cody Hensley; and Kristal Mefford; three grandchildren; mother, Alyeene Hensley; brother, Jack Hensley; several other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Victor and Lola Malm, Charles and Mildred Hensley, his father, Verlon Hensley.
