The memorial service for Karen Laverne Henry, 51, will be 10 AM Saturday at Lanman Funeral Home Chapel in Helena. She was cremated at her request.
She was born December 5, 1947 in Prescott, Arizona, to Cecil and Glendene Lovingier Henry and died Tuesday, September 14, 1999, at her mother's residence in Ringwood.
She graduated from Santa Barbara, California, high school, received her A. A. degree at Santa Barbara and her B. A. degree at San Luis Obispo at UCLA. She spent several years teaching at the University of Madrid and lived in Mexico, South America and Costa Rica. She also lived in Arizona, Nevada, California, Florida, Montana and Oklahoma.
She is survived by two children, Martin and Margaret Henry of Enid; her mother, Glendene Henry of Ringwood; and three brothers, Darrell Henry of Miami, Florida, Bob Henry of Evansville, Indiana, and Steve Henry of Santa Barbara.
She was preceded in death by her father.
