Billy Henry, 63 year old Woodward resident, passed away Saturday, December 6, 2025 at his home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, December 12, 2025 at the Roadway Church in Fort Supply. The family asks that attendees dress casually and comfortably. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings Funeral Home.
Billy Ray Henry was born in Shattuck, Oklahoma on June 11, 1962 to Kenneth Ray and Wanda Jean (Crow) Henry. He was raised in Fort Supply and graduated from Fort Supply High School. Billy was united in marriage to Vickie Ann Buss on October 19, 1982 at the Woodward Courthouse. They made their first home in Fort Supply. He worked for Western State Psychiatric Center, William S. Key Correctional Center, and finally the City of Woodward. He was also a volunteer firefighter for the town of Fort Supply for many years. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and swimming, but what brought him the most joy was spending time with his wife and family.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents Jean and K.R. Henry; sister Debbie Olmstead; and brothers Danny Chumley, Mark Chumley, and James Henry.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Vickie Henry; son Joshua Henry; daughters Amber Henry and wife Chelsea, Layonna Henry, Cheyanne Henry, and Dusty Henry; brothers Mike Henry and wife Kim, Terry Henry and wife Tracy, and Steve Henry and wife Nettie; grandchildren Acelynn Henry, Kaden Williams, Nova Williams, Dagan Williams, and Mia Reeves; and great grandchildren Ryland Verhoeff, Waylon Verhoeff, Viletta Verhoeff; other relatives and friends.
