Clara (Thomas) Hendrickson

May 7, 1928 ~ March 18, 2004

 Clara Hendrickson of Bakersfield passed away Thursday, March 18, 2004, peacefully at home.

Clara was born May 7, 1928, in Heavner, Oklahoma, where she graduated from Heavner Grammar School. She moved to California in 1942, graduating from Delano High School, and later worked at Delano Hospital nearly 30 years.

She married Carl Hendrickson on August 1, 1947.

She has been an active member in the Church of Christ for many years and will be missed.

Clara was preceded in death by her father, John Scott Thomas; her mother, Alta Thomas; three brothers and a sister.

She is survived by her husband, Carl Hendrickson; her son, Michael Hendrickson; daughter-in-law, Kimela; two grandsons, Matthew and Marshall and granddaughter-in-law, Megan.

Visitation will start on Tuesday, March 23, 2004, 2-6 p.m. at Delano Mortuary Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2004, 11:00 a.m. at Delano Mortuary Chapel.
